"EN MANOS AJENAS" - ARELYS HENAO Y EL GRUPO EXTERMINADOR
Monterrey, Nuevo León, MÉXICO. “The Queen of Popular Music” and Grupo Exterminador delight regional‑music fans with a song that strikes, moves, and allows listeners to feel the immense talent of Arelys Henao and the Mexican group. This release marks the first major step in the Colombian star’s celebration of three decades in music, which she will commemorate on October 17 with a spectacular concert at the Movistar Arena in her home country. This collaboration unites the culture of two nations with a long‑standing musical connection. It is also the first of several upcoming releases in which the iconic figure of despecho will join forces with other major artists.“En manos ajenas” is the title of the hit already gaining traction among audiences across multiple countries. Written by Juan Corona and Francisco Rivera, the song portrays a raw story of heartbreak and late regret, where a woman’s dignity prevents her from looking back or returning to a path she already knows will lead nowhere.
Post‑production was handled by Johan Úsuga, while the promotional video was filmed at Rancho MX in Cajicá, produced by Andrés Osorio of Everest Films.
Fans of Arelys Henao have plenty to look forward to: after the Movistar Arena show in October, her voice will shake Medellín on November 7 at the Centro de Eventos La Macarena, along with countless surprises promised for the confirmed dates.
Thirty years of music may sound simple, but in Arelys Henao’s case, they represent dedication, discipline, talent, determination, success, growth, and countless stories shared with her audience — an audience that has pledged loyalty to everything bearing her name: albums, concerts, and even biopics.
It’s no coincidence she holds the crown as “The Queen of Popular Music.” Her influence is already being felt in Mexico and North America.
