"LA MIGAJERA" - JESSIKA ELIZALDE FT. EL DUSTY
Monterrey, Nuevo León, MEXICO. Regiomontana star Jessika Elizalde is celebrating the release of “La migajera,” a melody that explores an attractive fusion of sounds where cumbia, pop, and subtle touches of funky blend together, allowing listeners to discover new perspectives of the singer’s voice.
Released on September 18, the single reveals a clear intention to adapt the sound of her homeland while offering bold and incredible mixes that remind us that, even if there is nothing new under the sun, as long as artists like Jessika Elizalde exist, we will always have the chance to be surprised by good music. Every time Jessika releases a single, her taste for high‑quality arrangements and artistically valuable proposals becomes evident.
“La migajera” is a powerful production by El Dusty and aims to position itself as the crossover of the year, something increasingly difficult to achieve—not due to lack of talent, but because few dare to try, and those who do give their absolute best to stand out. The efficiency of the recording —with the collaboration of Mariano Herrera— carefully attends to every detail needed to maximize the auditory experience represented by “La migajera.” Its greatest challenge lies in the integration of a wide number of instruments, yet it is precisely El Dusty’s expertise that makes the score sound as exact as it must have looked on paper or when the idea was first envisioned.
In the midst of an endless wave of artists seeking to break through using covers, replicating formulas, or emulating established figures, Jessika Elizalde’s presence becomes an oasis amid the worn‑out clichés that saturate audiences.
When we hear many idols say in interviews that music is meant to be shared, not competed, we often wonder how much space they truly give one another. With Jessika Elizalde, this has always been put into practice: most of her songs have been collaborations with important idols of varied styles, learning from them, letting herself be carried by the music, yet maintaining her particular style, which gives her a unique personality.
