Proof of this is her first nomination at the Latin GRAMMY® Awards, in the category Best Ranchera / Mariachi Album for the 27th edition of the ceremony. This recognition marks an important milestone in the rising star’s career and celebrates her growth and evolution as an artist with a unique voice and identity.
Camila Fernández’s nomination adds to a new year of achievements for Universal Music Latino Entertainment (UMLE), reaffirming its leadership in developing new talent with more than a decade of consecutive presence in the Best New Artist category and three nominations in this edition. The strong representation of UMLE artists among the nominees reflects the company’s commitment to diverse proposals and the artistic richness of Latin music.
The nomination arrives as Camila Fernández presents Una Raya Más Al Tigre, her third fully mariachi album, featuring nine songs that explore love, heartbreak, strength, and pride in her roots from a contemporary perspective. The project also bridges generations through compositions by Martín Urieta and his son Martín Atzayacatl Urieta Ángel, reaffirming a legacy that Camila continues through her own voice and generation.
This new chapter will soon reach the stage with a tour across Mexico and the United States, beginning on October 2 in Guadalajara, where Camila Fernández will bring the music of Una Raya Más Al Tigre to live audiences in a moment especially significant for her career, now strengthened by a historic nomination.
