In 1997, the only recording by this performer was released, featuring hits such as “Tú me prometiste,” “La reina de tu corazón,” and “Candy Boy.” The production was handled by Michael and Ron Morales, who had already developed a well‑defined Texan sound that enjoyed great popularity thanks to Emilio Navaira and that would later be adopted by other artists. The album was released under the Barb Wire Productions and Virgin labels.
Its distribution in CD format was limited to the U.S. market, although in northern Mexico it gained traction thanks to DJs who included “Tú me prometiste” in their turntable remixes, especially at dances and events focused on the Texan sound.
Her debut material included several singles with pop and dance arrangements, revealing her interest in expanding her musical proposal beyond traditional Tejano. “Chicas quieren gozar” was a Spanglish cover of the classic 1980s hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by pop‑rock superstar Cyndi Lauper.
During 2016, the singer made several public appearances that hinted at the possibility of an official return to music; however, no official updates about her artistic activity or any upcoming musical projects have been announced.
