ZOFI ZARO - "TODO EL AMOR"
SPECIAL FEATURE. In a world where originality often seems to be viewed with suspicion, it is rare to find musical alternatives of true value. For that reason, when we come across songs like those performed by Zofi Zaro, there is no choice but to give them the respect they deserve. Today, in Phrase of the Week, we present “Sé porque me fui,” taken from the hit “Todo el amor,” a recording she released a few months ago. With it, she reflects not only a soft voice with presence and clarity, but also a song that imprints itself on both mind and heart.
With a modern regional Mexican style —fresh, youthful, and eager to propose something new— this track arrives as one that, only weeks after its release, is already shaping the rhythm of the grupero wave this year.
In this particular case, “Sé porque me fui” is a phrase that portrays self‑love: knowing that sometimes it is better to live with the scar than with the open wound. That decision can only be made by the brave —those who have understood that living has a price and are willing to pay it. The song is for them. Yet it also leaves a timid spark of hope for those who still cannot clarify their emotional landscape and do not know which decision to make.
Zofi Zaro’s proposal in “Todo el amor” goes beyond the traditional storytelling of a relationship ending. It speaks explicitly of ending something with no future while keeping love intact; of stronger emotional awareness, of sentimental introspection that only appears when someone has endured a raw experience and, instead of remaining trapped in shock, chooses to put into practice everything learned.
