After overcoming several personal challenges, Mary chose regional Mexican music as her new runway, convinced that her worth and strength surpassed any obstacle.
In the traditional streets of Mexico, her dedication and perseverance guided her toward a new direction. The sound of the tuba, tambora, and brass awakened in her the desire to explore a new form of expression. Gradually, she formed a strong, sensitive, and authentic bond with regional Mexican music.

Thanks to her charisma and captivating personality, Mary quickly became known as “La Güera de la Banda.”

Before becoming a promising figure in the regional movement, Mary showcased her talent on two major U.S. television shows:
